Un programme qui accélère les idées innovantes de réfugié·e·s entrepreneurs en France

A pre-incubation program for refugee entrepreneurs in France to accelerate their innovative projects from an idea to a soft launch

For the third year in Paris, Ice Academy is being led by PLACE, a start up specialized in early-stage entrepreneurial projects, and Ben & Jerry’s, a global social enterprise with impact at it’s core.

Ice Academy is a European program, that aims to support refugee entrepreneurs in developing their entrepreneurial projects and financial autonomy. This is done through a unique mix of intensive design-based training and access to part-time employment.

How does Ice Academy work?

From April to August 2021, Ice Academy will support early stage entrepreneurs as they kick-off their entrepreneurial journey. Through weekly training sessions they will challenge their ideas and strengthen them through feedback from real potential users. Meanwhile, the participants of the Ice Academy will also have access to part-time jobs with our employment partners the Jardin d’Acclimatation and Park Astérix to build their financial autonomy.
