The 14 women in tech taking the lead in Paris
In the 14 all-female cohort of the Techfugees Fellowship, there are newcomers of all backgrounds – midwives, engineers, accountants, art directors – all actively re-skilling with tech. As tech becomes an essential pillar of all fields, it is essential that the tech skills that have traditionally been concentrated in siloed “IT departments” are diffused to other sectors. More widespread tech skills will not only create more opportunities for adapted innovation but a more agile and rapidly adaptive workforce as well. PLACE & Techfugees are rowing in the same direction – ensuring that new voices have the skills to become empowered actors in the Future of WorK. Want to learn more about the newcomer talent being accelerated by Techfugees? Meet the talented fellows here.
